2019 Charitable Giving Program | Charity Request for Proposal
The Real Estate Alliance for Charity (REACH) is currently accepting submissions from local non-profit organizations to be considered for the REACH Charitable Giving Program.
REACH will add one (1) charitable organization to our roster in 2019. The organization will be selected for a three year grant period. REACH donates up to $12,500 annually to each charity on our roster. At any given time we support 1-3 charities.
REACH strives to support the community in which we live by distributing funds to smaller organizations that have a direct impact on charities that are often over looked by larger foundations and charitable giving programs. REACH will distribute funds to local non-profit organizations whose emphasis to benefit children in Wisconsin.
Currently REACH supports College Possible, Hope House, and ABLE. Uniquely these charities directly impact the communities in which they serve, while advancing the welfare of children.
As the charitable arm of the Commercial Real Estate industry, REACH encourages industry professionals to recommend a charity that fits our mission.
The mission of the Real Estate Alliance for Charity (REACH) is to improve the lives of those in need by contributing to worthy endeavors, either financially or through in-kind donations, with special emphasis on causes that benefit children within Wisconsin.
REACH raises and distributes funds through fun events, individual contributions and other fund-raising means and activities.
To nominate a charity, please have the charity complete the following items:
- Must be a non-profit organization in Wisconsin
- Must serve children
- Must be recommended by a commercial real estate professional
(Please note that REACH favors smaller organizations in its need evaluations)
- (1 pg max) Submit a letter of recommendation from a commercial real estate professional
- (2 pg max) Cover letter about organization
- (1 pg max) Synopsis of Core Programs
- (2 pg max) Overview of Fund Consideration, please include the following talking points:
- How will REACH contributions be used.
- Special needs.
- How will the contribution impact your organization.
- (1 pg max) Annual Budget (Budget Top Sheet)
- (1 pg max) Board of Directors
(Please place the documents in order as listed, please do not exceed page allotment, please do not include additional promotional materials or multi-media presentations)
After review of the submissions the REACH Board of Directors will narrow down the candidates and interview 3 finalists. REACH will base their decision on the need of the organization, the involvement in the community they serve and an emphasis on causes that benefit children. As noted above, the relative impact of our support to the organization is a significant factor in our determination of need.
